These beauties are super packed with Calcium, Vitamin A, C, K and E, Iron, Lutein and Beta-Carotene. They are known to contribute to overall skin and bone health as well as helping to  strengthen our immune system. 

These beauties have a mild peppery flavor complimented with a subtle earthy finish. We love adding them into salads, on a sandwich or wrap, on top of a pizza fresh out of the oven, or paired with sushi or seafood. They’re also great made into a pesto sauce! So good! The arugula plant is in the Brassica, or Cruciferous family. This family includes other vegetables such as broccoli, kale, and cauliflower, just to name a few. Now that sounds like a healthy family!

Fun fact, in ancient Greece, Arugula was believed to have the powers of a natural aphrodisiac and was widely used in love potions.
