Salad Ingredients

  • Kale
  • 12 oz. of Blackberries
  • ¼ of a Red Onion thinly sliced
  • 1 Avocado thinly sliced
  • ½ pound Smoked Salmon thinly sliced
  • Chevre Goat Cheese Crumbles 
  • Zest of ½ Lemon
  • Myer Lemon Herbs De Provence GARNISH Finishing Salt

Dressing Ingredients

  • ½ cup MECCA Milanese Gremolata Infused Olive Oil – bringing an herby, citrusy flavor
  • ¼ MECCA Black Mission Fig Balsamic Vinegar – delicious and rich beyond words
  • Zest of ½ Lemon
  • Myer Lemon Herbs De Provence GARNISH Finishing Salt to taste – tying all the flavors together

To Prepare
First prepare the dressing by combining the ingredients listed above. Mix thoroughly and set aside. Next roughly chop the kale, place in your desired salad bowl and dress lightly with some of the prepared vinaigrette. Toss to make sure all the kale is coated then sprinkle the lemon zest and a couple of pinches of the salt on top. Set aside for 10 minutes or so to let the kale marinate. Once marinated, plate the kale and top with the blackberries, red onion, and chevre. Arrange the salmon on one side and the avocado on the other. Lightly drizzle a bit more dressing to finish. Enjoy every single bite knowing that this salad is not only delicious, it is good for you as well!
